Exercise as Therapy
Exercise can turn a bad day into a good one. As a therapist and personal trainer, I believe exercise is a integral part of overall wellness. Exercise has proven to reduce stress and anxiety and can alleviate symptoms of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder by producing new brain cells and increasing endorphins, our body's natural antidepressant. Using yoga, dance and walk talk therapy, I encourage clients to explore physical activity as a part of their therapeutic plan.
Children and Adolescents
For over 20 years I have worked as a teacher, counselor and educational leader in the Dallas area. I have worked with children, adolescents and their families to develop healthy habits and decrease conflict by setting boundaries, increasing positive communication skills and promoting self-advocacy. I specialize in working with teens as they transition into adulthood and with parents on refining parenting skills. I am trained in and a strong advocate of Love and Logic.
Women today face more challenges, responsibilities and unrealistic expectations than ever before. From gender discrimination to societal pressures over looks and body weight to becoming the perfect parent or spouse, it can be overwhelming and extremely taxing on your physical and mental health.
Our work together will help you learn to identify emotions, set boundaries, and make time to nourish the goddess within. My goal is to empower women and assist in unleashing that powerful feminine energy.

Using an integrative and holistic approach, I work collaboratively with clients to develop individual plan to identify strengths, talents and goals while recognizing and overcoming any obstacles that may hinder progress. This may include active talk therapy along with physical movement, mindfulness training and wellness coaching.
